The trend of the telephone industry

The trend of the telephone industry

Once upon the time there was the first telephone: what a machine for almost
one century ago. By now everything’s changing: the whole industry is simply
evolving and growing up very fast and, by the way, involving many other fields
that years ago were totally on the other side.

Just let’s think about 2 commons house-life tools: the telephone and the
computer. Once ago you just used the phones to call (when it was stricly necessary)
and the computer was just a calculator unable to get its own range out of the
office. Today computer and telephones work together, hand by hand and sometime
in the same case. Today a personal computer is nothing with no telephone line
and without it would be useless at all. Power of Internet: an huge, black box
which is changing everything around and of course the World Wide Web is totally
telephone line based!

Sometimes Internet and telephone merchandising are working for each other:
just think about the mobile technology … everyone has got its own cell phone
whixh is not anymore a normal phone but it’s a computer itself. You can get
connected, you can download ringtones, applications, music and whatevere you
like to have in your palm. By the way because of the mobile technology a personal
computer can be connected everywhere, wireless and just with the auxilium of
your cell. Furthermore we have brand new applications, brand new technologies:
think about the iGaming: today you can have on your phone the game you like
the most, you can play with that, you can even gamble with your telephone and
the mobiles casino application: five years ago nobody knew something about gambling
online, poker online or online casinos and today you can do it justthe keyboard of your tiny mobile phone!
We actually don’t know but if you can get in the same feature fields that different
like telephones, casino and Internet, well, we should think about the future!

The future is of course very hi-tech and probably what now is very futuristic
in a little while will be obsolete and whereas how telephone technology
is running. Palm-top, I-phone, micro phone: there is a big challenge between
the big companies to lead the market with their latest product and nobody knows
who’s going to be on top.

Photoshop Adobe

Classified in: hi-tech, softwareadmin at 21:11

The current (10th) iteration of the program, Photoshop CS3, was released on 16 April 2007. “CS” reflects its integration with other Creative Suite products, and the number “3″ represents it as the third version released since Adobe re-branded its products under the CS umbrella. Photoshop CS3 features additions such as the ability to apply non-destructive filters, as well as new selection tools named Quick Selection and Refine Edge that make selection more streamlined.

On April 30th, Adobe released Photoshop CS3 Extended, which includes all the same features of Adobe Photoshop CS3 with the addition of capabilities for scientific imaging, 3D, and high end film and video users.

Market leader for commercial bitmap and image manipulation, Adobe Photoshop has in recent years become a must for graphics professionals. Developed by then PhD student Thomas Knoll, Photoshop is the flagship product of software company Adobe Systems. For those with little expertise in the complex computer world, Photoshop is simply a graphics editor which allows you to manipulate visual images on a computer. Whilst originally created to edit images for paper- based printing, Photoshop is now widely used by both professionals and amateurs alike.

To date, Adobe has released ten version of Photoshop, all with a variety of features. Basic functions include the ability to alter photos, downloaded icons and scanned artwork; make technical modifications and create images from scratch. Later editions have enabled Photoshop to team up with other Adobe software and expand its uses into the world of media editing, animation, and authoring.

The latest iteration of the program is Photoshop CS3, released in April 2006, has enhanced its features, improved image stitching technology and added new editing tools such as non destructive Smart Filters. Other additions include better control over print options, enhanced PDF support and an improved overall management and selection.

Adobe Photoshop’s biggest selling point is its ability to appeal to both professionals and amateurs. The different versions make it not only an industry standard image editing program but also an easy-to-use software for any computer user.
